CMG (Carlos & Manuel Gutierrez) Loft
Our interest in pigeon racing started in 2000 when we were given 4 Breeding Pairs as a gift by Ron Hanson & JoseCrisostomo and some birds from other flyers like Jef stephen bros. I like to say thanks for your help.

Now having obtained these birds from ron & jojo they are our mentors and coaches in these early years, giving advice, tossing our birds, keeping with the correct medication and feeding program. We used to follow his advice as if it was some kind of religion and it paid off huge devidends. In our first year of racing as CMG loft in the Bellflower club, we acquired the following positions with the offspring of these birds which was mainly Ronnies & some Jenssens (JEDDS) birs .2 x 1st1 x 2nd1 x 4th2 x 5th3 x 6th & many more minor positions.

As we are going through an experimental phase with these birds, it will be interesting to see if they can adapt to our system, which according to some fanciers is very demanding.

Keep an eye on the Photo Page for our Stock Birds.

(If you have any questions regarding our club please feel free to contact me)

My History about my loft
CMG Loft was established in 2000 with a help of some friend in the pigeon sport.  I have accumulated and no expense had been spared in acquiring what I think are good pigeons.  I am not a big breeding farm like most website you see.  I tried to breed quality and not quantity.  I have 10 pairs of breeders in my yard all of them has been proven or has breed winners for me.  I also buy key birds every year in order to attain a high quality of pigeons.  I cull heavy and keep the good ones.  I normally just fly 30 to 50 youngsters a year.  I am not a mob flyer that ships 60 to 100 pigeon a race.  I have hold my own in my club and combine flying against 40 to 50 flyers , averaging 800 to 1300 birds a race in young birds.  Since I  Rent my house, I still have not established an adequate old bird team.  In the past two years my old bird team consist of 8 to 12 birds flying from 150 miles up to the Yearling 500 mile race.  I am hoping that this year I would accumulate enough yearling to have a descent old bird team for  next year. "Lets keep the Birds FLYING" I remember when I started and the feeling of being an outcast in the sport, with only a few people are willing to help you out, and the rest don't  even care.  My advised to all pigeon flyers is, since we love this sports. We need keep the attitude of  helping a new flyer out, because this sport that we love so much will one day disappear.  I believe in helping new flyers out, because I know the  expense and cost it  takes to participate in this.  This philosophy I acquired from the friends that helped me when I got started.  So to you Ron Henson, JOJO and Jeff stephen" WIND WEST, I have you to thank for  enjoying this sport of racing pigeons as much as I do..
